ADOPT A PET

It's Time for Spring Cleaning!

Wanderers' Rest will be closed to the public on Tuesday, May 13th and again on Tuesday, May 20th for our annual spring cleaning.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, but we'll be busy working with our wonderful animals to make the Shelter sparkle.

Animal Control Officers will have access to the Shelter on both of these days, and if you are an owner who needs to come in and redeem a lost pet, you may still do so.

Thanks and Happy Spring!

Looking for cages...

We are in need of some new portable cat cages for the shelter. We use them to house our kittens in a more play-friendly environment as well as to set up our adoptable cats and kittens at off-site adoption events. The cost for these cages is $90. If you would like to purchase one for the shelter, you can do so at www.petedge.com/crates/ or by sending a donation directly to the shelter, marked "Cat Cage" for all or part of the cost. Please see our wish list for other items we are always in need of.

Thank You.

Furry Angels Give Love.......

we are proud to announce a new look has been designed for the Wanderers Rest. Please visit www.cafepress.com/wrha to order your sweatshirt, t-shirt, mug, etc... to show your support of our shelter. A portion of your purchase will be given directly to us.

Save a Life - Be a Foster Parent!

Wanderers' Rest Humane Association is actively recruiting volunteers to become foster families for our many cats and kittens. Foster parents are families or individuals that are willing to offer their home on a temporary basis to animals in need. Foster care is most frequently needed for kittens that are too young to be adopted, or nursing mothers and their young. It doesn`t take a lot of time or money, just a little extra room and a little extra love to give our most needy guests a second chance. Give the gift of life - Become a WRHA Foster Family. You can download a printable version of the foster parent application here. Call 697-2796 for more information.
